  • "The property was lovely although one of the recliners on the sofa was broken."

Would help if food bags were provided for recycling and also they request you put bedding etc in a black dustbin bag but didn’t provide any. Just an idea to provide them. Place was gorgeous though.

After a long walk the hot tub was great to come back to and relax. Also loved the ammount of space outside which was secure for the dog. Would definitely come back.

  • "The perfect country retreat was exactly what we needed."

Amazing views great location quiet and peaceful. Great walls just outside the door but quite hilly so not recommended for people with mobility problems. However completely private with great facilities . Ideal for our dog as the cabin had a secure garden. The cabin is well equipped and tastefully decorated the owners have thought of everything. Great communication with the owners before arriving and are nearby if needed. The bottle of wine was a lovely touch to arrive to. The only downside was the flies when sat on the patio but it’s in the countryside and wouldn't put us off going again. Our only regret is not booking for longer. Thank you Lindsey & Darren we will see you again soon !!!

  • "Absolutely loved everything about our stay at Ploony Hill Cabin."

The location is fabulous with great walks from the door or a short drive away. The sunset view from the hot tub is magical. Our dog had a great time exploring the large wrap around and very secure garden. The facilities inside were great, the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. The sofas very comfortable and the wifi good enough to watch Netflix. We had a perfect and relaxing week away and would love to return.

  • "Everything about the cabin was perfect!"

We had such a great time and was able to relax in peace. We walked into our cabin and it was absolutely gorgeous, we will definitely be making a return in the future. The only thing that could have been a downside was the road to get to the cabin, it’s a stone gravel path which could be an upset to people but not us, thank you and we will definitely be returning!

  • "Amazing cabin."

Had everything you need and a great location. Perfect if you have a dog. We were able to take ours in the fields at the back of the property - its literally just behind the cabin. We found this great the dog loved it and she could have a good run around. Hoping to come back in the summer! Only issue we found was that the bedroom was quite hot during the night but this was only a minor thing - we had the window open to compensate.
