  • "Great bungalow, drive very steep."

Lovely views. Holiday spoilt by failure of central heating, which didn’t work properly from arrival and then failed totally. The fuel tank was empty. Didn’t get repaired until the last evening of our holiday. The caretaker has no excuse for this lack of attention. The vacuum, base of shower screen dining table chairs were not clean. The property itself is lovely. We left it in better condition than when we arrived

Great location, stunning views, lovely pub just down the road. Excellent all round.

  • "Family of 5 stayed over the Xmas break, had a very nice relaxing time."

The cottage is great, very clean and tidy and the area quiet at night. Only thing I will mention is there is no washing machine, which was a bit of hassle on a couple of the days - other than that would highly recommend.

  • "Beautiful home from home with wonderful views and walking."

Really warm and great shower. Only problems were no hot water in kitchen and no washing up bowl.

Dear Susan, Thank you for your feedback. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay. I’ve put the washing up bowl in the sink & turned the immersion heater on for hot water. Thank you for letting us know. Best wishes, Property Owner

  • "The holiday cottage was lovely and had some very homely touches to it."

Lots of toys for the children. Wonderful views from the patio a very pleasant stay. Only real criticism is the hot water system maybe needs a pump on it or the tank lifting in height as it took ages to fill a sink or bath.

Dear Wendy, Thank you so much for your feedback. We are arranging for a pump to be fitted to improve the hot water pressure. We’re delighted that you otherwise enjoyed your stay, particularly the stunning views. Best wishes, Property Owner

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that you experienced difficulties during your stay. We have been advised by our management company, that the tank ran out of oil, for which we can only offer our sincere apologies. It was our understanding that the tank had sufficient oil to last the remainder of the month. Suffering the cold is unacceptable, but we very much hope that you otherwise enjoyed your stay at Cressyn. Property Owner

  • "Absolutely beautiful location and house is large, clean and beautifully decorated."

Lots of lovely touches for kids and the views were stunning BUT no instructions for oven, hob or telly use! You cannot get normal current telly only iplayer, etc. Holly and Jason (caretakers) went out of their way to assist and apart from getting the telly sorted (we were all stumped) we worked out the other snags! Generally, as a home from home, fab location, views and peace this is a lovely place to stay.

Dear Guest, We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We understood that the TV was working through various apps etc. We have now had the aerial sorted by BT, which will help in the future. I’ve been able to find the instructions for the oven & hob & I will leave these in the kitchen. Thank you for your feedback, it’s been very helpful to us moving forward. We’re very glad you liked Cressyn & the surroundings. Property Owner
