Despite the narrow lanes leading to the cottage it is well positioned to be able to visit much of the surrounding countryside in both Shropshire & Wales.

The cottage itself is very comfortable and the conservatory area in particular makes the most of the good views. The surrounding hills were beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed going for walks from the front door. Emma was a lovely host. We would be delighted to stay here again.

There are narrow lanes to be negotiated to get there but the cottage is quiet and well equipped and the lovely owner is nearby but not intrusive. Ideal for visiting several nearby towns. Hot tub and its view is special and we love a log burner too.

The cottage itself is amazing! The photos do not do it justice, so spacious and lovely large side garden too, such a sun trap! You have everything here for a fabulous break. The free range 'happy' eggs were delicious, and we were even entertained by the Houdini pigs! Emma was extremely helpful prior to arrival with all local info re shops etc, and gave us a genuinely wonderful warm welcome and tour of the property including the hot tub controls when we arrived. Brynlikky is a little slice of heaven! We look forward to planning a return trip.

  • "This cottage is tucked away in a remote area and has stunning views across the valley."

It was clean and compact and there was a very friendly welcome from the owners next door. The hot tub was nice and warm and easy to operate, and there was plenty of wood for the log burner. We enjoyed a pleasant stay with the weather ranging from warm sunshine to snow. We would have liked a little more food storage in the kitchen area, but this was not significant for our weeks stay.

The cottage is well stocked with everything we needed. Great place for walking the Shropshire hills, then returning for hot tub and evenings by the logburner.

  • "This is a delightful, peaceful new cottage on the top of a hill with lovely views."

It's very thoughfully fitted-out and the terrace/hot tub and small garden are great. The underfloor heating keeps it all nicely warm. The nearest villages are 10-15 mis away with good pubs/shops. Emma is a great host - never intrusive but always available and helpful if needed. There is WiFi in the property but no mobile phone reception (a real bonus!). Plenty of good walks within a 15 mile radius.

  • "I wouldn't hesitate to recommend beautiful brylikky!"

Everything was perfect, the cottage was immaculate and so cosy and comfortable. The flowers and cake on arrival were a lovely touch from the wonderful hosts Emma and Edward. Emma was so lovely when I contacted her before our stay for recommendations for a meal for birthday celebrations. The cottage is in a lovely situation in the hills with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Emma was kind enough to take us and our grandchildren (staying nearby) to see the piglets that had not long been born and also some baby chick's, the kids loved this experience. Emma was also kind enough to allow them to stay with us one night for a sleepover (the kids not the chick's!) The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after a day spent exploring and a great place to star gaze. The skies were amazingly clear with no streetlights to spoil the view! All in all a fabulous stay, we definitely hope to return in the future! Thank you so much Emma! X
