The owner is a welcoming host and her information pack is very useful. A few bumps upstairs until used to low eaves apart it proved to be a restful week. Thoroughly enjoyable break and strongly recommended.

We loved it from the minute we arrived. Annibel gave us a warm welcome and was extremely helpful. The garden is beautiful and it was great to sit out and listen to the birds. All being well, we hope to return next year.

  • "A superb cottage sitting in a really beautiful garden."

The owners are very welcoming and hospitable. The cottage has everything you could want and is surprisingly roomy for a couple. The setting is great for visiting the locality. The village is interesting but not a comfortable evening stroll , despite only being about half a mile, which is the only drawback we found. The road outside is busy, particularly at times like school run.

  • "Painter's Cottage was easily accessed from close-by car parking to ease unpacking and packing."

It was light and airy and provided plenty of space. The decor was clean and functional. The upstairs was very comfortable and practical with good quality linen and towels. The bed was very comfortable and large. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. The owner provided practical information before travelling and was very supportive. The cottage has good views front and back and is private, even though it sits in the owner's property. There is a delightful garden to the rear. We would not hesitate to book again in the future as this is an excellent quality holiday cottage located near to three NT properties and many gardens.

Our host was very friendly and welcoming, ensuring everything was ok with the property, just after arrival, and prior to departure. The facilities within the cottage were excellent, with everything we needed available. If we had reason to return to the location, we wouldn't hesitate to book the cottage again.

The cottage was very comfortable. It is not close to any shops or markets, so you need to get groceries before you arrive. Leominster has two large supermarkets.

Thank you for your lovely comments and we are pleased that you enjoyed the amenities and were comfy. We can confirm that the local shop is under a mile away and is approx an 8 minute walk. The village shop is also jointly The Post Office and Tea rooms. There are also two village pubs under a mile, plus a Morrisons supermarket approx a 5 minute drive away, we're so sorry if you didn't realise that. Property Owner

Just about everything we needed was provided. As people with mobility issues, it would have been good to have a down stars loo, but we coped with the stairs. The bed was wonderful,as it was so big. Kitchen equipment, although we didn't cook much, was there. Lovely garden with adequate seating both using the bench beside the cottage and the table and chairs up the steps. We really enjoyed our stay.
