The grounds and cottage were immaculate, the staff friendly and helpful, the other residents/guests quiet and polite. The FVD and puzzles library were great. We really enjoyed it, will likely be back, and have already recommended it to others.

  • "The Lodge was beautifully kept, and it was so clean, tidy, and comfortable."

It's so nice and peaceful, being able to sit outside and enjoy the decking, and the peace and quiet. Everything you need is provided, and I just had one query, about something being provided and the next day it was solved straight away with apologies. We had no issues with the Lodge, the stay, or the surrounding areas. You do need a car, or you would struggle to get about, and when they say the wifi is spotty they mean its hardly there, but you are warned on the listing, so you are aware of the fact. We would most definitely stay there again.

Hello, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this feedback. We really do appreciate it. We are so pleased to read you enjoyed your time in the lodge and appreciated the peaceful Herefordshire countryside. Sorry to hear you had an issue, but we are glad this was resolved quickly and effectively for you. Our housekeeping team work hard to ensure everything is kept clean and tidy, so we will ensure the positive feedback is passed into them. WiFi is definitely what we call "quirky" in rural Herefordshire, so is fine for checking emails and social media posts but we admit, it's not fit for downloading or streaming services. We are working hard to resolve this and there should be a huge improvement soon - fingers crossed! We look forward to welcoming you back again. Property Owner

  • "Lovely location, lodge comfortable, nice laundry room on site, lodge clean and tidy."

However, a few pointers:- No social amenities on site or within walking distance Shower in main bathroom not very good Tin opener didn't work Lack of saucepans Knives were totally blunt Double bed was very uncomfortable Microwave had metal and rust exposed, didnt risk using Security light on steps didnt work until our last night Nothing available on The TV signal very very poor, and internet none existent Office was open on our arrival, lovely friendly women, but never see anyone to mention issues we had, office hardly open due to Christmas period

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the location and found the lodge comfortable. Our reception was open every day apart from Christmas & Boxing day, although the hours were slightly shorter than usual. All guest information contains an out of hours number, so we are disappointed you were unable to speak to anyone about these issues, as they could have been easily rectified. All feedback is good feedback and we have passed on your comments to our relevant teams. We always aim to make holidays as enjoyable as can be. We hope you will consider booking again & hope you still managed to have a magical Christmas break in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Very best wishes, The Discover Parks Team.
