  • “We had such a fantastic stay and appreciated the little touches that had been added to make it perfect.”

The house was very clean and had everything you could need. Abergavenny was lovely and had a lot to offer, and the supermarket is only round the corner. We can’t wait to come back.

This stunning, detached property rests within the village of Bryn-Y-Gwenin , close to the market town of Abergavenny.

This magnificent house is perfect for celebrating a special occasion or to simply catch up with the family whilst exploring the area’s quaint towns and superb countryside, including the Brecon Beacon’s National Park on your doorstep.

Rustle up a delicious feast in the contemporary kitchen, appointed with a range of appliances to assist you during your stay, before making use of the bright and airy dining room for mealtimes.

The bi-fold doors stretch across the kitchen and flood the room with natural light, as well as offering uninterrupted countryside views.

Head into the sitting room to find a relaxing setup, including two leather sofas positioned in front of a large TV and beautiful electric fire – just what you need after a brisk day rambling the hills.

Wake up to a view from the master bedroom, featuring a king-size double bed and balcony with outdoor seating, plus a walk-in dressing area and an elegant en-suite bathroom with bath and double walk-in shower.

Offering flexibility, the other bedrooms feature zip/link beds arranged as a king-size double and twin, and benefit from their en-suite facilities so you don’t have to worry about morning queues!

Outside is an extended decking area where you can enjoy an alfresco meal from the picnic benches before making use of the private hot tub for an evening of relaxation.

Abergavenny perches on the edges of the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park, making this a fantastic base for walkers and cyclists looking to get their fix of idyllic scenery.

Less than 10 miles away is the Clydach Gorge cycle route, or head further afield and enjoy canoeing and kayaking on the River Wye, one of the best ways to take in this area of outstanding natural beauty.

Skirrid Mountain is a 5 minute walked from property, a popular walking destination, and the Michelin Star Walnut tree Inn is located at the entrance to the village, again, just a 5 minute walk from the property.

There are also plenty of historical sites within the area, including Abergavenny Museum, Big Pit National Coal Museum, the beautiful Priory Church and the Blaenavon World Heritage Site.
