  • "The house was lovely and extremely well equipped."

There was a problem with BT in the area so no WiFi but it worked out for the best as all four children accepted it and played in the garden and we all played the games we had taken. Good quality family time. The owner went out of his way to try and sort out the BT problem but it had affected around 30 houses so obviously he was in the hands of BT. Because of the location EE and O2 had no reception but 3 had 2 bars most of the time. Fresh air, exercise and relaxing fun time.

  • "Absolutely beautiful property that you can tell from the minute u arrive has been made to a high spec and very well looked after."

Slight issue with the bath plug that was sorted straight away by the owners that I am only mentioning so show how they are very quick to rectify any issues and who are very polite and nice. Lots of entertainment in the house even a games console, our only small suggestion was the games room could be updated more so for adults I.e a darts board/table tennis etc as this is a big factor for the men in our group but luckily the endless games in the living room kept them from being under our feet. Welcome pack very informative, probably the best I’ve ever seen very detailed from how to use the heating system to the fancy cooker, very prompt repayment of the house keeping bond and the hot tub was lovely with an added extra of towels for the hot tub. We don’t have a bad thing to say about this property and we don’t normally revisit property’s but this is one we would consider.

  • "Vic and Sally’s home was fantastic and we had such a fab New Year break."

The location was fantastic, this was our 3rd New Year trip and definitely our most active due to the fab location with great walking and cycle routes. We couldn’t take all of our bikes on the rack but we researched Drover Cycles nearby who were very accommodating and reasonably priced. The local pub was only a few minutes walk and they were also very welcoming serving delicious home cooked food! The house itself was very clean and totally met our expectations, we would suggest a tumble dryer or more clothes dryers as it was so handy to get the muddy stuff washed whilst we were there. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would definitely recommend to friends and family. :)

Hot tub was a nice relaxing bonus after long days out. Plenty of places to eat in Kington 6 miles away. Lovely views from the house and it's very well equipped, comfy beds and powerful showers. Great selection of games for all ages.

  • "Lovely quiet area."

Shame the local pub is no longer open. House was as expected. Great size living area and all that you'd need in the kitchen. Good under floor heating all over the house. Minor criticism, the games room should be labelled as for kids only otherwise it's a little misleading.

Thank you for your feedback. The local pub is under new management and so is undergoing a programme of refurbishment but will be open again shortly. Property Owner

  • "The holiday cottage was beautiful, and was kept to a hight standard with all modern fixtures."

The views around were breathtaking. It is perfect for a week away from busy life. I would say that if you have small kids the upside down house isn't the best, because when they go to sleep the adults walking/talking upstairs had a tenancy to wake them. Apart from that, which can't be helped, great cottage with everything you could need in terms of utilities.

Accessible for visiting local towns both in England and Wales, while returning to a relaxing evening in the garden, watching sunsets from the hot tub, and talking with family. We have returned from holiday thoroughly relaxed after a really enjoyable week.

  • "We had a fabulous stay in this very well equipped house."

It was lovely and comfortable, very cosy and the hot tub was great. We had snow during our visit but we were able to walk from the house over Hergest Ridge and the surrounding hills, which were amazing. The owners very kindly came to check we were able to get out, the day before we left. Would highly recommend due the level of comfort, games, maps, puzzles etc, the hot tub, the location for walking and the fantastic views from every window!

  • "Fantastic stay here."

We had a fabulous time. The owners made it look lovely with Christmas decorations. Our only suggestion which is very minor was that due to the underfloor heating there are no radiators so we struggled to dry clothes. So a tumble dryer would be a perfect addition to the property but this did not effect our holiday. We would definitely stay again

The house is well set out with the very spacious living areas upstairs so that you can enjoy the views during the day. The hot tub was very welcome in the evenings once we returned from our days out. We had a really wonderful week away and would highly recommend this property.
