  • "Absolutely amazing!"

What a beautiful house. The photos don’t do it justice! Also has an amazing big fridge you cannot see in the photos. The beds are really comfy, decoration of the house is amazing. Driveway parking and an EV charger. The only thing to be aware of is the town centre clock chimes every 15 minutes all through the night and is quite loud!

Hi Lucy. Thank you so much for your very generous review. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Strangely some guests notice the clock chiming and others do not. We have arranged for earplugs on the bedside tables for those who do. Best wishes John Property Owner

  • "A perfect choice for a group of friends, as we all had space and private facilities with extensive, comfortable communal areas."

Town centre location is excellent, together with adequate parking space. Would have no hesitation in booking again for a friends/family get together

  • "Superb holiday accommodation right in the centre of Hay on Wye."

The house has everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and it was obvious that it has been carefully fitted out for that aim. We stayed over a v cold weekend, but the house remained warm throughout and was a delight to come back to after a day out walking. We particularly enjoyed the games room for an evening in. The location is excellent with good pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Also, having 3 parking spaces was such a bonus. We would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking of renting this house.

  • "Beautifully decorated, spacious house in the centre of Hay."

It is easy to walk everywhere in town from the house. All the rooms are large and there is plenty of space for people to spread out. The town clock does chime on the quarter but just added to the charm of the location.

  • "We all had a lovely family holiday, celebrating our daughters 18th Birthday."

As a lover of books, Hay-on-Wye was a good choice. We could walk to all the bookshops within ease!! The house was amazing and had everything you needed for a relaxing break away. You can see that a lot of time and effort (& money!!) had been put into the refurbishment of the property. The well equipped Co-Op store at the far end of the road had everything you needed, within walking distance. The children thought it was the best property we had ever stayed in. We will definitely consider booking again in the future.

  • "What a wonderful house!"

It has been refurbished to a very high standard and offers everything required for very comfortable stay for our party of eight adults. The owners really have throught about all the details. It is in a prefect spot to explore Hay, and all the very interesting shops, and the beautiful surronding countryside. We hope to book another stay sometime.

  • "Well thought out and beautiful renovation of this fabulous home."

Loved spending the late afternoon/early evenings in the garden with a glass of wine! Great kitchen with everything you need. Comfy beds with super soft linen. So convenient for endless mooching in the bookshops and plenty of places in the house and garden to sit and lose yourself in a novel. A big bonus is that nobody gets the small bedroom because there isn't one! Owners very responsive when needed. Such a great place to have been able to unwind. Thank you!
