"Thank you so much for our wonderful stay."
Sue was so kind and understanding when we needed to alter arrival day/time. The peace and tranquillity were exactly what we needed. The views and sunsets are truly beautiful. The cottage has a wonderful welcoming feel. All what we could have wished for and more. Thank you , we hope to visit again. Mike, Nina and Charlie ( doggy )
"Lovely spot with fantastic, far reaching views."
The conservatory provides a comfortable place to take advantage of the views and sunsets. Good location for exploring the black and white villages and for walking. Westonbury Mill Water gardens are well worth a visit.
"Very good week."
"We had a wonderful week at The Owl Barn!"
Peace and quiet with views to die for from the conservatory. We watched storms coming and going as well as saw some spectacular sunsets. The Pughs at the farm were lovely and really helpful. This was our first stay in Herefordshire and we weren't disappointed! We'd recommend visiting Berrington Hall, Croft Castle but most of all Westonbury Mill Water Gardens with it's amazing follies. Yarpole and Kingsland are beautiful places for walks with fab local pubs (The Bell Inn and The Angel) which we ate at a few times. We also enjoyed watching the Swallows and Linnets flying around The Owl Barn and listening to their songs. We finished our evenings before sundown strolling down the farm track to say hello to the Herefordshire cattle in the fields. They love a head scratch as they're very curious!
"Excellent cottage in a fantastic location."
Cottage was nicely decorated for Xmas and ideal for our family get together. Plenty of parking. Sue was very helpful , even allowing us to use her chest freezer for the extra storage needed at this time of year.. Thank you
"Old barn Old barn, Kimbolton, HR6 0EX."
We're a married couple with one dog and our weeks stay at the Barn was enjoyable, the view from the conservetry of the rolling hills and the sunset every night was excellent. The Barn itself is fully equiped and comfortable. I would not recommend walking along the road at the bottom of the drive, as the vehicles drive at speed along there. I would recommend Ludlow SY8 1XY, Croft castle HR6 9PW, Berrington hall HR6 0DW, Queens wood country park HR6 0PY, Carding mill valley SY6 6JG. Enjoy your stay you will love it. "Very well appointed and comfortable accommodation with amazing views!"
A lovely quiet base to explore the surroundings. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!
"Lovely little cottage, perfect for our family of four."
Sue was very welcoming and the property was well equipped for our stay, especially the kitchen which was well furnished with utensils and pans. Great location, close to Leominster and the main road to Ludlow, but you wouldn't know it as it's so peaceful and with some beautiful sunsets to enjoy. The kids also loved racing around the drive on their scooters and enjoyed meeting the local cows. Thanks so much and look forward to returning.
"Very pleasant and comfortable and set in delightful country side."
"Cottage very nice and had a great time."
Owners very friendly and helpful. However please note that website shows a gas Hob when in fact it is electric.
"The most relaxing place."
The owners were so helpful and very friendly. Recommend a visit any time of year. Thank you enjoyed my stay tremendously. Carole.
"Owl Barn is in a lovely quiet location yet close to everything of interest in the area."
Hosts were charming and welcoming and the same goes for the accommodation. Second bedroom may be a little cosy for adults but overall the cottage was spacious, fitted out to a very high standard and comfortable. It was a pleasure to return there after days out. No enclosed garden for dogs but mine was more than happy to explore the grounds on a lead. The conservatory was a bonus with lovely views across the countryside and front row seats for the sunsets. Hope to return soon.
"We were greeted by the owner and we felt really welcome."
We had a few hiccups which were resolved straight away and the lady could not do enough to make us at home. It was a very spacious and comfortable with 3 settees At a further date we may consider going back.
"The hosts, namely, Les and Sue Pugh were two of the nicest people I have ever met, nothing was too much trouble, had a peaceful and tranquil holiday in comfort, highly recommend a holiday at Rowley Farm cottages."

"The view from the cottage was amazing."
the host was very friendly and the stay was very relaxing. the location of the cottage is great for touring about the local area.
"Blissfully peaceful, lovely bungalow with wonderful views in spacious surroundings with ample parking space."
Has all the equipment you can need. Although we didn't take our dog it would have been ideal as there is so much space to exercise a dog, and no traffic. A few minutes drive into the interesting town of Leominster with plenty of pubs, eateries shops and a Morrisons on the Brecon road. This was our second visit and may not be the last.
"Not as clean as we would have liked, the furniture wasn't particularly comfortable and the linen was basic."
We felt we had over paid for what was basically a good view. We loved the area and will return but not to the Owl Barn. V. Taylor
"Wonderful, peaceful and very well equipped kitchen!"
Plenty of safe space for 3 children to run around, bike, play. Berrington hall is literally 5 min away; full of things to see and do; we had to go visit twice
"Great place to stay."
Nice and cosy. View from conservatory is fantastic. Located on a beautiful working farm with friendly owners on site. Cider apple orchards and woods next door which you can walk through. Perfect location for a quiet week away exploring Herefordshire which has stunning scenery and lots of places to visit. Our family's verdict......Perfect!
"We had a very warm welcome on arrival and were shown around by Sue."
The barn was lovely inside and very well equipped. We were stunned by the fabulous views from the conservatory windows. It was a really fabulous place to spend our week and we would love to go back at some point. We visited many places of interest, including National Trust properties that were close by. If you enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside with fabulous views this is a must.
"The Owl Barn was well equipped with every modern appliance."
Clean and comfortable, I could not find any fault with the accommodation and would thoroughly recommend it to anybody seeking a quiet and relaxing holiday.
"Must be some of the best views in Herefordshire from the Conservatory."
Excellent open plan lounge/kitchen.
"This property looked delightful on the website and it was even more lovely in reality."
The conservatory had fabulous views across the fields and hills and watching the sunset each evening was wonderful. The owner was friendly and helpful. It was on a farm and very peaceful - yet only a few minutes drive from Leominster. The Hereford trail passed nearby for walking and there are several national trust properties and country parks in the vicinity. I had a fabulous, relaxing and enjoyable week. I was lucky that the adjoining cottage was empty for the week. I am not sure it would have been the same with people looking in at me from their conservatory or making a noise. But that's just a personal thing.
"We had a lovely family holiday at Owl Barn with a warm welcome ."
The cottage was very comfortable for our family of 6. The lawn at the front was ideal for the kids to play. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here.
"Very welcoming and pleasant owner on site, which makes all the difference."
Outstanding 180degree panoramic countryside views from the conservatory as the cottage is located on a hillside, but only about 2 - 3 miles from Leomnster.
"The cottage was superb & in a wonderful location."
It was so quiet & peaceful we had a very relaxing holiday. The owners were very pleasant & helpful. Everything was great.
"Lovely views and everything worked as it should."
Could improve information about recommended places to eat locally. Would be good if teatowels and washing pods were supplied. I managed to unintentionally leave with one of the towels from the cottage. Did the owners want us to return it?
"Lovely cottage with amazing views from the conservatory."
Owners were very friendly and welcoming.
"The barn is located in a beautiful spot countryside views wow would be a lovely place in the warmer weather"
