“We had a lovely holiday the bungalow was equipped with everything we needed.”

Everywhere was so clean, some beautiful fresh flowers and a welcome pack when we arrived.

The property

Green Acres is a delightful ground-floor cottage, settled in the traditional country village of Yarpole, Herefordshire.

Nestled between North Herefordshire and the Shropshire border, this lovely dwelling provides the perfect base for exploring the local area.

Take of your shoes and place them in the porch, before heading into the bright hallway and wandering through to the kitted out kitchen/diner, where you can pop on the kettle and prepare a light lunchtime snack as you gather at the table to plan an action-packed itinerary for the days ahead.

Stay ahead of the game by keeping on top of your washing in the utility room, removing any post-holiday stress at the end of your trip.

Move your way into the sitting room and place a log on the woodburning stove, so that you can warm by the fire as you snuggle up to loved ones on the sofa and lose yourself in a captivating movie on the Smart TV.

Later in the evening, spend time in the dining room as you enjoy a family meal and be amused by entertaining board games for some friendly competition.

As you find yourself falling into a sleepy state make your way to your bedroom where you can cosy under the covers and dream the night away; those staying in the master bedroom will benefit from the spacious king-size bed and airy en-suite shower room, where they can indulge in a rejuvenating shower before sitting at the dressing table and taking their time to get ready for the day ahead.

A contemporary double bedroom is decorated with beautiful dark wood furniture and neutral tones, making this a tranquil space to unwind after a busy day with a gripping book.

A bright and clean single bedroom is the ideal spot for guests to escape the excitement of the rest of the group for some down time.

Get ready for an evening of entertaining in style as you place your towel on the rail to keep it warm and toasty as you while away the hour with a soak in the bath.

In warmer weather, dine alfresco with a picnic in the garden as you bask in the sunshine and share memorable moments from your holiday so far.

Enjoy a stroll in the village before stopping at the village shop and filling your basket with ingredients for a tasty home-cooked meal.

Be captivated by the history of the National Trust owned Croft Castle and Berrington Hall.

Walk from Green Acres to Croft Castle and Bircher Common and appreciate the stunning Herefordshire countryside with a hike up to Croft Ambrey iron age hill fort or one of the many other walking routes in the area.

Relax and unwind in the refreshing English countryside, with a stay at Green Acres.
