Ebbw Farm is situated in a beautiful area with Skirrid Fawr on one side and fields with sheep with lambs on the other. Really goods sights are close at hand and long drives are not necessary. The 'three castles' (White, Skenfrith and Grosmont) are all nearby and beautifully situated, as are Tretower Castle and Court, all of which we enjoyed visiting. We also drove to Hereford, with stops at Kilpeck and Rowlstone to see the churches which contain excellent examples of the Hereford School of Carvers. The walk to the top of Skirrid Fawr is also to be recommended, with beautiful views all round from the top. Ebbw Farm Cottage is a very comfortable place to stay and the hot tub at the back is a lovely indulgence, which we much enjoyed. The Copper Kettle next door is a very good place to while away some time with an ice cream or tea and cake. All six of us had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend Ebbw Farm Cottage to any of our friends.
