  • "This place is amazing."

Out in the countryside with nothing but beautiful views and sheep for company :-), what better to look at at when your sat in the hot tub. The owner was very helpful and easy to reach if we had any quetions. 11 of us stayed for both christmas and new year and the cottage had ample space. Will highly recommend this place to anyone.

  • "An outstanding property in a beautiful area."

The house is finished to new build standards but retains much of its original feel and features. Large family dining area will genuinely seat you all for a home cooked meal fro the well equipped kitchen. Twin lounges might not suit everyone but worked well for us. Superb, quiet walking and cycling (both road and mtb) can be found from the doorstep. Lots of other walks/trails also within a short distance as well. After a good days walking the hot tub awaits! Anita is fastidious about this being clean and correctly balanced as she is about the cleanliness of the house. A good base for exploring both sides of the border.

  • "Pictures don’t do it justice."

A lot better than it’s displayed on the website. Only downside I’d say is that the living rooms are a bit small but we spent all our time in the kitchen as it was huge, so it wasn’t a issue. We even moved one of the couches into the kitchen for extra seating. Host was great. Only a phone call away when we needed something. Hot tub was great and always warm too for 3 days. Overall it was a great stay and rate the property 9.5/10.

We are glad to hear that you had a great stay at our property, we would strongly recommend not moving furniture around the property to avoid damage to the property or anyone hurting them selves while they are away. We hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

  • "The farm was just perfect!"

Had to cancel our original holiday due to Covid restrictions and then we stumbled on the farm last minute. The house was immaculately clean, the beds were so comfortable, and we were provided with everything we needed and the hot tub was amazing especially on a breezy afternoon/evening. Even being surrounded by sheep was lovely!! Will definitely look at going back in the summer. Plus owners are so lovely. Really made my 30th birthday special. Thank you x

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at the Farm."

Set in lovely peaceful surroundings in rolling green hills. The house was finished to a lovely standard with a great kitchen/diner ideal for family gatherings. The house was well equipped with plenty of cups, plates, cutlery etc, a good sized fridge/freezer and nice range oven. Outside the hot tub was a big hit and we spent many evenings sat in it star gazing! We would definitely come back! Anita was very friendly and helpful, but gave us plenty of space and privacy.

From the outset, this large holiday accommodation boasts a seamless blend of character and contemporary, making a great base for groups of families and friends to call home as they explore this part of the country, which rests on the border of England and Wales.

Soak up your surroundings before entering into the large kitchen/diner, with the Range cooker takes centre stage before all of the other quality appliances within this farmhouse-style kitchen and the large dining table, where everyone can gather to raise a glass to a superb holiday before tucking into a home-cooked dish.

Afterwards, your evening can be spent within the sitting room, look forward to cosying up on the plush seating arrangement with the electric fire offering a gentle warmth during the colder months.

The second sitting room within the cottage will delight younger guests of the group, where they can escape to watch whatever they wish to on the TV.

Grandparents or those who simply do not wish to climb the staircase, will love the ground-floor king-size bedroom with its elegant furnishings, good wardrobe storage and access to a sleek shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC.

The elegance of the ground floor is continued up onto the first floor, where four additional bedrooms await.

Choose between a family bedroom with super-king-size bedroom (zip/link beds, can be made into twins on request) and single bed, a family bedroom with double bed and single bed, a double with en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a king-size with en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, designed to ensure a flexible sleeping arrangement for all party make ups.

Continuing to impress is the garden area, where the large lawns are great for letting the younger guests play and the table and chairs upon the patio offer an alternative spot for some dining and enjoying a beverage during a balmy afternoon.

After an action-packed day or a long walk upon the countryside, look forward to savouring a moment of relaxation within the bubbling hot tub, with the stunning backdrop to admire.

Better acquaint yourself with your surroundings by taking a trip into Presteigne town, where you will find a superb array of places to eat and drink, as well as shops for picking up any last-minute essentials.
