The location is stunning, Jean, the owner is one of the loveliest people I have met. The cottage is large, four bedrooms, but Jean has made it so cosy and comfortable with lots of her own hand crafted quilts and other touches all round the cottage. We didn’t want to leave. The cottage is on a working farm and the owners live in a lovely house a few yards away. They are there if you need anything, we didn’t because the cottage is so well equipped, but they are not at all intrusive in any way. The location is quiet and in an ideal spot to explore mid wales. We went to Snowdon from here, the train ride to the top is breathtaking. We saw hundreds of red kites being fed, also amazing. There are some lovely towns and restaurants close by if you don’t want to travel too far and Jean has compiled a book of local walks and other attractions which we found very useful. We can’t recommend it highly enough, although then everyone will book it and there won’t be room for us next time, Thank you Jean, we will return.
