  • "Just back from a lovely week in the Little Forge with my husband and dog."

I called Andree as requested 48 hours before we were due to arrive - she was very friendly and her instructions were clear. The photos on the website don't quite do the Little Forge justice as the garden space is amazing, and that's on top of your own enclosed patio area with nice garden furniture. The house is immaculately clean and the bed very comfy. The place isn't over cluttered, just nice bits and pieces dotted around to make it feel homely. Whilst the kitchen is small, don't let that put you off as there's enough space and facilities to cook pretty much anything I imagine as there's a great combi oven. If you like dogs, then you'll love Andree's two dogs who are delightful and added to the stay. And welcome goodies on arrival for all three of us was an added bonus. Pembridge itself is a beautiful friendly village with two pubs only a two minute walk away, a local shop owned by the friendliest of couples, a restaurant just over the road and a cafe. All three of us would recommend the Little Forge.

  • "Small but extremely well equipped and good quality throughout."

Lovely garden of which we had use. Very helpful owner who gave us the names of a number of restaurants and pubs the week before arrival - most useful at peak time as needed booking. Plenty to see and do around including great walks.

  • "Andree was the absolute perfect host, and her parents who greeted us were the loveliest of people who made us feel welcome immediately, as did the two dogs, Hannah and Poppet."

Andree has created a fabulous bolthole at the Little Forge which is ideally located for exploring Herefordshire, whilst also having an excellent variety of pubs and restaurants right on the doorstep and within walking distance in Pembridge itself. The Little Forge is so cosy for a break as a couple with all the facilities you really need. The Kitchen is quite small but unless you intend to cook a 3 course meal whilst on holiday, it is absolutely fine. The bed was luxurious, the shower extremely powerful, the Lounge was totally relaxing and the garden is breathtaking. Can't believe we managed to book Little Forge last minute in the current climate, but we had our batteries well and truly charged thanks to our stay here and the hospitality given by Andree.

  • "We had a very comfortable stay in Little Forge and the owner was extremely welcoming."

It is a good location to visit Herefordshire and see all that the county has to offer. The cottage has a very small kitchen with all the gadgets, a comfortable bedroom with plenty of storage, good step-in shower and bathroom, nice sitting room and modern television and there is sole use of outside table and chairs for meals, that for us a big plus ! It is quiet despite being on the A44 and there is off-road parking within the cottage area but it is a tight squeeze to enter.
