You are ideally placed to explore the beautiful countryside of the Welsh Marches with Offas Dyke leading up towards the Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is nearby Radnor Forest, a large stretch of Moorland and a myriad of small historic towns and villages perfect to spend a day exploring.
The area offers some great days out, in addition to the fantastic walking the area is perfect for cyclists as well as less traditional pastimes available such as clay shooting and a local rally driving school or perhaps a more sedate round of golf at one of the nearby courses.
