An outstanding half-timbered, Grade II listed barn conversion in the grounds of the owners’ home, situated amongst apple orchards in the pretty village of Westhope, just eight miles from Leominster and Hereford.

Set across the first floor, this charming 18th century former cider mill provides spacious accommodation, ideal for a romantic getaway in a stunning part of the country.

Luxuriously-furnished throughout, this beautiful cottage boasts many original features, including window shutters and exposed beams, as well as an open plan living area comprising a stylish kitchen, dining area and a sumptuous sitting area with a warming woodburning stove, ideal for those chilly evenings.

Completing the accommodation is a superb bedroom with en-suite facilities, while to the front, a decked area with furniture is perfect for relaxing with a refreshing drink, or dining alfresco while taking in the peace and tranquility of the area and planning the next day’s activities.

From your luxury cottage, explore the village of Westhope with its lovely walks and birdwatching opportunities, with cycle routes and fishing nearby, along with the Offa's Dyke footpath a short drive away.

Nearby, you can visit Leominster, at the heart of the Black and White villages of North Herefordshire, full of antique and curiosity shops.

Westhope is a peaceful, rural village set amidst beautiful Herefordshire countryside, only 8 miles from Leominster. Located in the heart of the border countryside where England and Wales nudge each other along Offa's Dyke, the area is a haven for walking and cycling, and for discovering olde worlde country pubs in the unspoilt villages close by. The picturesque village of Weobley, just a short drive away, is a hidden gem and is quite simply the jewel in the crown of Herefordshire’s famous Black and White Village Trail. This delightful village boasts many timber framed houses, some dating back to the 1400s and boasts excellent facilities including shops, churches, coffee shops, traditional pubs and the renowned Jules restaurant. Leominster, possesses some fine examples of architecture such as the Priory Church, along with a wide variety of shops, cafes and pubs, and is the ideal place in which to spend a lazy afternoon strolling around in pleasant surroundings. The cathedral city of Hereford dates back to Saxon times and boasts an eclectic mix of architecture, with a medieval bridge spanning the winding River Wye. Here you can discover the fascinating Mappa Mundi world map and the captivating chained library, home to a collection of rare and ancient books. There is also a cheese factory, vineyard and many cider farms in the surrounding areas for guests to tour and sample the delights of the wonderful local produce.
