Pearl Lake Country Holiday Park is set in the village of Shobdon, Herefordshire, close to the historic Welsh border. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with rural walks and cycling, the park offers 80 acres of rolling parkland with a 9-hole golf course, a bowling green, natural fishing lake and an on-site restaurant/bar. Outside the park, there's plenty to see in North Herefordshire and the surrounding Marches countryside, set close to the black and white villages of Pembridge & Eardisland, and the rest of North Herefordshire, dotted about with friendly pubs, art galleries, tea rooms and village shops, along with castle ruins, country churches, open gardens, and historic houses. Shobdon itself benefits from the local airfield, a fabulous attraction for plane-spotters, whilst the surrounding market towns of Leominster, Ludlow, Presteigne, and Kington are within reach, home to museums, lovely market squares, and historical landmarks. Keen walkers can explore the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, filled with scenic walks and offering a wealth of activities, including horse-riding, fishing, golf, watersports and even airsports. Ragleth Hill, Flounders' Folly, and Stokesay Castle are must-sees in the stunning Shropshire Hills, and the historic town of Shrewsbury welcomes tourists to explore its quaint, cobblestone streets and visit its famous Prison, Abbey, and Castle for a full day of sightseeing.
