It is quiet ,set back from a busy road but you don't hear any noise. A beautifully presented cottage, and well equipped. We don't drive but the bus stop is just around the corner, well served by two buses that run every fifteen minutes between them.We are going back next February and are already looking forward to it.

  • "Cottage was great and very well situated for the places we wanted to visit on the Island."

It was clean, and the kitchen in particular was very well equipped. A couple of recommendations, the bedding could be upgraded to a better quality, and some of the towels could be a larger size, but neither detracted from our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage and would certainly recommend it to others.

  • "The Isle of Wight is a bit tired and the condition of the roads is very poor in some places."

As a first time visitor the beaches are lovely and the countryside is beautiful. Great ferry services but I thought they were quite expensive. Great house, well equipped and near a few shops, pubs and a exceptional fish and chip shop. Great week.

  • "Whole package exceeded our expectations and good weather was a bonus."

The property and its homely and plenteous contents were of a high standard. Media and entertainment items in abundance. Ideal situation for public transport links, which for us, included visits to family on the island. They and us have no hesitation in recommending this property. We are already talking about 'next time'.

Can’t wait to go back. We are a family of 4 and the two children are small and this place was perfect for us. The little touches like games, books and dvd’s was much appreciated. The children loved playing in the garden. Lots of living space in the family room/kitchen.

Everything you need for a great stay in the IOW. Ideally situated for exploring the East and South of the Isle or further if you wish. The house is modern, very clean and great to spend time in. It's one of the best we've ever rented and we have been to the IOW many, many times. If a welcome pack was provided it would be 120% perfect! Thanks to the owners for such a great place to stay, we had a brilliant time.

The only thing I would say is that the sofa’s aren’t particularly comfortable for taller people.

  • "The cottage was spacious, light and airy, with lovely seaside-themed decor and a parking space conveniently right outside the front door."

The kitchen was stocked with good crockery and most of the utensils we needed to prepare our meals (although we missed not having a cafetiere and cheese grater). While the double bed was a bit too soft for our taste, we appreciated the extra little things such as fishing nets in the shed, and the selection of games, jigsaws, books and DVDs (our three year old son didn't use any of the ones we had brought from home for him!). We were also very impressed that the owner replaced the main TV within days of us reporting that the DVD part of it was broken.

Fantastically well equipped for kids (books, toys, games) in fact the best cottage for this that I have ever stayed in.

  • "3 Old Post Office Mews is an immaculate, comfortable and extremely well-equipped holiday home."

We had a problem using the induction hob without the missing instruction booklet, but we contacted Abbie on the emergency number, and could not have received a more helpful and friendly response. Having Costcutters next door, through the arch onto the High Street, was extremely useful, as was the large Tesco superstore just a short drive away. The restaurant close by, Heima, is of a very high quality. Travel on the trains (each of which is two old London underground carriages) from Brading Station was fun. The speed of the internet on the island was our only problem. We had a lovely stay on the islandl

  • "We had stayed at No 4 three years ago so we knew exactly what we would get for our money which is why we returned."

The furniture was not as good as in No 4 but we managed. Brading is near St. Helens which is where we have stayed several times many years ago. So the area is somewhere we know and love to go. However, we are now getting on in years and decided that this would be our last visit to the IOW. Thank you for making it possible and for giving us another super holiday.

The only irritation was the beds (all 4) weren't over comfortable, made worse by the plastic pillow and mattress protectors in the searing August heat. Other than that, nowt to complain about. Lovely house. Railway station 5 minutes walk, bus stops 2 minutes walk and chip shop within sniffing distance. Ace! We agree with the Chapmans of Leeds.
