  • "Beautiful flat with all facilities in a perfect location."

As with other holiday visitors we found the settee and arm chairs a little low. We would also wish to thank Mel and the plumber Charles for the prompt repairs to the water leak.

  • "Only one thing was the very low seating in the lounge."

Everything else was really lovely and we enjoyed our holiday.

  • "A lovely property in a good location of Sandown."

Thr property itself is well layed out and well equipped. The attention to little details such as dish washing tablets, washing machine tablets, games and books are worth a mention. The property is clean and bright. Only 2 negatives (and other reviews say the same) the low down furniture in the living room and the neighbours above- they are very heavy footed. Walking distance to the beach, pier and central area. Everything on the Isle of wight is drivable within 40 mins or so.

  • "The apartment was in a good location."

Parking outside patio doors. The apartment had a modern appearance with good decoration. The sofa was too low for optimum comfort & appeared at odds with the rest of the apartment. We were not met by the host . On finding only 2 hand towels to last 3 adults 1 week , I rang the contact number. Mel promised to rectify the situation next day. Although apologies we're accepted she didn't arrive until over 3 days later. We were then offered as many towels as we needed. Only 2 toilet rolls & no extra. The welcome pack was poor in comparison to previous holiday lets. It appears that despite being a lovely apartment, cost saving measures have been put in place at this property. None of the above affected the enjoyment level of our holiday. However , small improvements in the above areas would have met our expectations completely.

  • "This was a very clean and well equipped apartment which was ideally situated for the type of holiday we planned."

It is not far from a Sainsbury's local to purchase food etc. It is also close to bus stops which enabled us to use our senior citizens passed to make full use of the excellent service to visit and see most of the island. The only minor drawback was the low three piece suit, which although comfortable while sitting on it could prove difficult to get up from. Having a car parking space immediately in front of the door is a very useful bonus. Overall , this is a lovely apartment which we would not hesitate to book again if we visit the island again.

  • "The property was spotless, roomy and in an excellent location."

Nice to have a garden to sit in. The double bed was very comfortable but the three piece was too low and difficult to get out of. Key safe could be located better as it is immediately above a drain and on opening the safe the key fell out and landed on the drain cover but could so easily fallen through into the drain. These were the only two adverse comments we have. Would we stay there again—absolutely, hope to return next year.

  • "When we arrived we discovered the owner had given the incorrect number for the key safe, not a good start !"

The noisy from the above flat was relentless from 6.45am to 9.am and again late afternoon for 3 hours. Dishwasher does not clean the dishes as it only washes with cold water. The bed was very uncomfortable as was the furniture in the lounge. Not somewhere I would stay again.

  • "One thing that is EXTREMELY annoying is the herd of heffalumps living above who rampage back and forth unceasingly until they depart for school or wherever."

Problem: I accidentally left a few clothing items in the bedroom cupboard - as far as I can determine, two pairs of women's trousers, a chemise, and one or two sweaters. Could you send them back to me? I would be happy to pay.

  • "No 3 Grosvenor court is a lovely property, convenient for walking to the beach and parking directly outside."

It was clean and well equipped. As a couple in our 70s we did find the seating in the lounge area extremely low and uncomfortable - in contrast to the rest of the property. We were surprised to hear a lot of foot traffic from the upstairs apartment in early morning (07:00 - 08:00), evening and weekend time (Outside school hours!). There was no other noise (TV, talking). This would not prevent us from booking the apartment again but felt it worth a mention

  • "This flat was bright, airy, clean, spacious, well equipped and in a good location."

BUT the bed was so hard we had to put cushions under the bottom sheet, there were no instructions on how to use the microwave or how to obtain the Wi-Fi code. We had to ring the owner about the code and she told us to kneel down and read the code from the sky box on the floor. As we are in our late seventies this was not easy.
