The property

A superb terraced cottage nestled in the heart of the coastal town of Yarmouth, on the Isle of Wight.

Entering the property, you will be greeted to a warm and welcoming interior, furnished to a high-standard and complimented with a wonderful light decor, making this the perfect spot for friends or families to gather.

Step into the cosy sitting room with a sofa and two armchairs to curl up and unwind into the evening whilst the open fire keeps you warm during those chilly winter months.

The open-plan kitchen/diner rests towards the rear of the cottage with a large and extenable kitchen table to gather for some home-cooked meals.

From there, you can access the spacious and airy garden room stocked with a large comfy sofa and plenty of games where your little ones are free to play while you cook up a storm in the kitchen!

Follow the stairs up to the first floor, which has a double bedroom and a bunk room, perfectly suited towards families with plenty of storage space for your personal items.

Take a warm cup of tea out to the enclosed patio area of a morning and get lost in a good book whilst the sun rises and your pets stretch their legs.

Yarmouth is an excellent location for sampling its traditional eateries if you don't fancy cooking one evening, as well as a selection of shops and supermarkets just a few minutes walk from the property for picking up any last-minute essentials.

This area is rich with fantastic walking and mountain biking opportunities, with the Isle of Wight AONB only a few miles away.

A short drive away brings you towards some of the Island's most picturesque beaches, and a downland with wild flowers.

About the location

Newport 12 miles; Ryde 18 miles.

The attractive seaside town of Yarmouth is the oldest town on the Isle of Wight, and its busy harbour is a haven for all kinds of watercraft, with the terminal used for regular mainland ferry crossings to Lymington. Yarmouth’s narrow streets are home to an attractive array of shops and inns, whilst a visit to Henry VIII’s castle is not to be missed. There's great cycling (and a cycle hire shop) and walking to be had along the coastal path. Why not take an energetic stroll at the nearby Tennyson Down and Headon Warren. Sandhard beach is 15 minutes' walk away, with Colwell Bay with its sandy beach and amenities for the family 7 minutes away by car. Yarmouth's pier and sailing club jetty is another good spot for crabbing. Four miles away is Compton Bay, famous for dinosaur remains; head there at low tide and see if you can find the two enormous three-toed feet. West Wight is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Yarmouth is an ideal base from which to explore this wonderful island.
