Mr Partridge “The cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard.”
There are only two things to be aware of. Firstly there is no WiFi and mobile phone reception is patchy. Secondly there is no parking outside the cottage, it may be possible to park outside for a short time while loading/unloading but normal parking is up a sloping drive that ends in a rough track that can get muddy in wet weather. This could be a concern for those with mobility problems.
Mr Cooper “No expense spared on quality of fixtures and fittings.”
Mrs Elliott “Wonderful peaceful place to recharge our batteries.”
Within easy reach of both Canterbury and the coast. Such a delightful well appointed cottage. In all the places we have stayed we have never received such kindness and such a pleasant welcome. It was truly a ‘home from home’ Thank you Stephen
Mr Dobson “Couldn't fault it.”
Lovely area of natural beauty too. Owner very helpful. Would do it again.
Mr Reeves “This cottage was by far the best we have stayed in over the last few years .”
Very helpful and friendly host ,we recommend it to everyone
Mrs Bayliss “Very well equipped and comfortable.”
Felt completely at home. The log burner was a lovely feature.
Mr Ford “Enjoyed another excellent holiday at Ripple Cottage.”
Lovely rural setting yet Canterbury and the coast are easily accessible. We hope to visit again soon.
JandLW2014 “Perfect quiet retreat”
A delightful cottage. Equipped to the highest possible standard and very well maintained and cleaned. The owner could not have been more helpful both in terms of arranging our visit and meeting us on arrival to show us all of the ammenities. He also provides in the cottage extensive information on the locality and beyond to help you plan your stay. Although the cottage is tucked away in a quiet location, it is not far to major roads giving quick access to the whole of East Kent.
Mr Philps “We had a very nice holiday in this cottage, the owner was very generous in providing excellent items for us to enjoy.”
It is probably the best cottage we have ever hired.
65KeithV “The best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in”
Furnished and fitted out to a very high standard, the cottage is fully equipped with everything you could need for a lovely relaxing holiday. Situated in a quiet and peaceful location, there is a beautiful small enclosed patio area just right for eating Al Fresco or if it should rain you can retire to the lounge and watch the birds feeding. The owner, Stephen, made us very welcome and showed us around the cottage on our arrival. He has thoughtfully provided fully detailed suggestions of local walks which we found very useful. Wye, with its excellent shops and eating places, is only about 2 miles away. We look forward to returning in the future.
Susan T “This Place is Awesome”
This cottage is spectacular in decor and location, and for the friendliness of its owner Steve - who forgave us breaking his lovely flower holder (we managed to stick it back together again so hopefully no one notices). The location is amazing with great countryside all around a lovely small village close by, a great pub up the road and plenty to do for day trips. We were there in bitter winter conditions at the beginning of February but we still had an amazing time with the wood-burning stove and a good video or two. The cottage is so well furnished and designed that I wanted to copy all the ideas in it. Stay here if you want to be in the countryside surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful things. You will love it.
A FlipKey verified reviewer “Look no further, without a doubt the best cottage you will ever”
On arrival Steve tne owner was in attendance, he could not have been more friendly or helpful. Close to local village with good shops and eat in pubs. The cottage was spotless, of a very high standard and had every amenity you could wish for. decor was of a very high standard. No recycle facilities in the area.
A FlipKey verified reviewer “Warm and very comfortable”
Stayed in this lovely little cottage in a very cold week...and it was beautifully warm and very well appointed. We had a great time and there was a log burning stove...with a good supply of logs and coal. We were made very welcome and I would recommend this to everyone.
