  • “Amanda and Mona were fabulous at sorting the issues we encountered on our first night.”

Mona’s number given to you by Sykes is missing a digit so doesn’t work- you can find it in the info book inside the lodge though. Mona’s number given to you by Sykes is missing a digit so doesn’t work- you can find it in the info book inside the lodge though. The whole area and the lodge are so peaceful and idyllic, you could almost picture it as a holiday abroad. The hot tub is absolutely amazing, we could’ve spent every waking hour in it! A few setbacks however. The mattress and the sofa could do with updating- both were very uncomfortable. The shower isn’t great, you have to compromise on either heat or water pressure. The plates are too big to fit in the dishwasher and also the sink so washing up is a mission in itself. In spite of the above, we loved it. Listening to the owls whilst in the hot tub at dusk is an absolute joy. This place is a gem but with a little tweak here and there and a bit of TLC it’ll be an absolute diamond.
