This welcoming abode is the perfect base for family and friends to enjoy a weekend getaway to the Weald of Kent Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

After an adventure filled day, step inside and make yourself at home in the homely sitting room and curl up in front of the open fire for a night of films, or take yourself away for some privacy in the reading room and get lost in a novel on the convenient sofa bed.

Stepping through the property, find a gorgeous kitchen which features an Esse Elecrtic range cooker, microwave, a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and another woodburning stove to keep you toasty as you prepare dinner.

Meals can be enjoyed in the sociable dining room accompanied by a bottle of wine and good company, or choose to dine alfresco on one of the outdoor seating areas on a summer's day, either on the decking, the patio down below, or for a picnic on the lawn.

The ground floor houses a beautiful super-king-size bedroom which has its own TV and access to a shower room where you'll find a walk-in shower, basin and WC, ideal for those with limited mobility.

A stunning double bedroom lies upstairs underneath exposed stone walls and sloped ceilings, served by a quirky en-suite bathroom with a sumptuous slipper bath and a separate walk-in shower.

The surrounding village of Iden Green offers a peaceful base for you to enjoy a leisurely stroll over to the neighbouring village of Benenden where you can stock up on any essentials at the local shop and café before saying hi to the locals at the friendly pub for a spot of lunch.

Cranbrook is also a short drive away which boasts more amenities and a Grade I listed structure of the picturesque Union Mill overlooking the town, whilst the colourful town of Rye is home to ancient inns, the Castle Museum, and the flowing Rother estuary.

Venture over to the coastal haven of Camber Sands for a classic day at the beach, or immerse yourself in culture at the historic town of Hastings nearby, with a range of attractions for the whole family.
