The property

Resting on the family-friendly Kingsdown Holiday Park in Kent, is this delightful Scandinavian-style lodge.

With its unique triangular shaped design and a well-equipped interior, this holiday lodge is ideal for families’ eager to explore the wonderful coastline and inland treasures.

Gather all in the open-plan living area to discuss the day’s activities over a delicious home-cooked meal, prepared in the galley-style kitchen.

Make yourself comfy on the sofa whilst catching up on your favourite shows before heading to bed in one of the three bedrooms, including two doubles and a bunk room.

This lodge has the added benefit of a raised decking area at the front of property which provides delightful views over the channel, whilst to the rear is a large decked area for alfresco dining in more privacy.

On-site you can find a handful of facilities including a tennis court, children’s play area and crazy golf, as well as a number of woodland walks and the fabulous sandy beach which is just a five-minute stroll from the cottage.

Head into Walmer or Deal to find a whole host of restaurants and traditional pubs to try, plus a unique high street full of independent shops to browse.

Just a 20-minute drive south will bring you to the White Cliffs of Dover, one of the country’s most spectacular natural features where you can enjoy exhilarating cliff top walks with unrivalled views of the English Channel.

About the location

KINGSDOWN

Deal 3 miles; Dover 6 miles; Canterbury 20 miles.

Kingsdown is a quiet Kent village with its own shingle beach leading to St Margaret's Bay. The village offers three pubs serving food, a local butcher with delicatessen, a general store, Post Office and hairdresser. The village is situated at the northern end of the famous White Cliffs of Dover, with the beaches and cliffs around Kingsdown part of the Site of Special Scientific Interest that stretches south to Folkestone. Close by are the coastal towns of Deal, Dover and Broadstairs, offering the visitor castles, museums, heritage, history and quaint tea room. Deal has a pier, two weekly markets and the farmers’ market on Wednesdays is particularly popular with local residents. Inland, Canterbury offers a popular day out, with its cathedral, Roman remains and excellent shopping centre. With a promenade and cliff top walks, scenic cycle rides, golf courses and breathtaking views from the shore, this part of Kent is a perfect location for holidays at any time of year.
