The property
This lovely semi-detached Scandinavian-style lodge is set in a woodland setting with other lodges on Kingsdown Holiday Park, in the village of Kingsdown near Deal and Dover.
With its quirky triangular shaped design, this holiday home is ideal for a family or friends with plenty of attractions and seaside resorts to visit in the area.
You enter this welcoming lodge via steps into an open plan living area, which has a sitting area, dining area to seat all guests and a well-equipped kitchen.
Beyond this are two bedrooms – a double and bunk room, both of which have French doors with access to the rear patio, and completing the ground floor is a bathroom.
Up on the first floor and open to the open-tread stairs is the final bedroom, a twin, and a mezzanine area with a cot, a small desk and reading space.
On sunny days, venture outside and sit on the patio with a cold drink and there’s also a bench to the front of the property.
On the holiday park are a number of family facilities, including crazy golf, children's playground and a tennis court, as well as a clubhouse for guests use.
Kingsdown has a shingle beach and all the amenities you can ask for from a village of its size, with a shop, Post Office, pubs and a butcher’s available.
The cliffs around the village are a Site of Special Scientific Interest, with the White Cliffs of Dover also within each reach.
Also the National Trust and English Heritage owned castles and the city of Canterbury are well worth visiting.
A convenient base for exploring the area known as ‘The Garden of England’.

Kingsdown is a quiet Kent village with its own shingle beach leading to St Margaret's Bay. The village offers three pubs serving food, a local butcher with delicatessen, a general store, Post Office and hairdresser. The village is situated at the northern end of the famous White Cliffs of Dover, with the beaches and cliffs around Kingsdown part of the Site of Special Scientific Interest that stretches south to Folkestone. Close by are the coastal towns of Deal, Dover and Broadstairs, offering the visitor castles, museums, heritage, history and quaint tea room. Deal has a pier, two weekly markets and the farmers’ market on Wednesdays is particularly popular with local residents. Inland, Canterbury offers a popular day out, with its cathedral, Roman remains and excellent shopping centre. With a promenade and cliff top walks, scenic cycle rides, golf courses and breathtaking views from the shore, this part of Kent is a perfect location for holidays at any time of year.
