About the property

Sandwich 2.4 miles.

Settled in the charming Sandwich Bay just outside the town of Sandwich in Kent, enjoying close proximity to the coast is this wonderful family-friendly home, Waterwynch.

Perfect for hosting a special occasion with spacious rooms and high quality fittings, this detached house will make a great host for a large family or group of friends alike.

Take in the picturesque exterior as you come up the drive and enter into your new home-from-home; find the homely sitting room to your right where an L-shaped sofa awaits you at the end of an action-packed day, to sit before the Smart TV and pick one of the many films and TV shows available to stream from Apple TV.

For a quieter moment, take pleasure in retreating to the second sitting room, where a large sofa bed rests to offer flexible sleeping arrangements for all, as well as providing the perfect spot to settle down with a good book.

Over in the kitchen/diner you can delight in being in the midst of the hubbub, sit down at the dining table with a glass of wine while the chefs of the group set to work on a tasty feast, and in the mornings perch at the breakfast bar with a coffee as you decide what the rest of the day will bring.

In summer you'll find the children enjoying the exciting children's play area in the enclosed lawned garden, with bags of room for both the little ones and the dog to run around on, and ample furniture for you to sit back and relax in the sun.

Head up to the first floor to find the spacious bedrooms, including three double rooms, and a single room, altogether sleeping up to eight guests including use of the sofa bed, so everyone will have their own tranquil spot to catch their rest in to prepare for the exciting days ahead.

Freshen up in the beautiful shower room with an indulgent rainfall head shower attachment, or enjoy a long soak in the P-shaped bath within the bathroom, perfect for winding down.

Just a short walk away is the beach of Sandwich Bay, head down here to take in the fresh coastal air, and for a longer walk continue on further down to the town of Deal which has a charming pier to walk on providing gorgeous seaside views, a maritime history museum and the Ken Museum of the Moving Image too.

Practically next door to Waterwynch is a delightful golf course, Prince's Golf Club, where keen golfers can try a round of golf before the sea, there is also three Open championship golf courses at Royal St George’s, Princes and Deal.
