Walmer is conveniently located on a cycle and walkway path from Deal to Kingsdown, so for a great day out take a trip to Walmer Castle which is only a 10 minute walk from the apartment and is home to tea rooms and lovely gardens.
Further along the coast is Deal Castle, which is an ideal place to explore for kids and adults alike.
Deal is also famous for its bistro and bars, quaint shops and shoreline, museums and weekly markets.
Further afield, why not take a trip to Dover for something different with the White Cliffs of Dover within each reach?
Also the National Trust and English Heritage owned castles and the city of Canterbury are well worth visiting.
