Mungrisdale Cottages

Within a courtyard setting with far reaching views over Saddleback and the Mungrisdale Valley, the owners of these 7 delightful properties welcome you to this beautiful part of the Lake District. The owners live on site and have lovingly created the holiday cottages from old farm buildings each offering character and charm and with a varied size and style they are suitable for couples, families or maybe larger groups looking to holiday together but have their own space too. One cottage sleeps 7, one sleeps 5, 3 ground floor adjoining cottages sleep 4 in each, a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment sleeps 4 and a 1 bedroom 1st floor apartment is perfect for a couple. All set within 2.5 acres of mature gardens to enjoy and with many private seating areas the views and tranquillity will amaze you. The hamlet of Mungrisdale is just a mile away and one mile from the A66 with easy access to both Ullswater, Keswick and Penrith and in the hamlet itself you will find a fine local pub serving bar meals in the enviable location next to the stream where, during warmer days children enjoy a paddle while the parents look on. Days out discovering lakeside villages and enjoying watersports on the lake or maybe trying a pony trek will be a delight and at the end of the day return to your warm and welcoming holiday home.
