Enter the property via your own private decking and step into the spacious open-plan living space, here you will find an impressive sofa with enough room to seat the whole group, perfect for a relaxing night in front of the fire with your favourite shows on the television.

At the centre of the room sits the dining table where you can enjoy all of your homemade meals prepared in the amply-equipped kitchen, as well as making a great spot for some family-fun board games brought from home.

The contemporary-styled kitchen hosts everything you could need for a self-catered stay, with the outside decking area making a beautiful location to enjoy alfresco dining as the sun begins to set.

Take rest in one of two well-presented bedrooms, choosing from the master king-size room and a twin, both served by the sleek and stylish shower room and boasting ample storage space for all your personal belongings.

Spend your mornings with the patio doors open letting in the fresh countryside breeze before heading out to explore the local area; Brigham is wonderfully idyllic, while nearby Great Broughton offers all of your essential amenities of a Post Office and village store, as well as three welcoming pubs to choose from following an afternoon ramble.

The Lake District National Park is a must-see while in the area, whether you attempt to tackle the summit of Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in the park, or simply soak up the scenery of Wastwater, there's plenty of natural splendour to see, with an abundance of outdoor activity available too at Keswick just a scenic drive away, offering canoeing, kayaking, hill scrambling, wild swimming and much more!

Great Broughton is a quaint village resting in the Cumbrian Borough of Allerdale and the civil parish of Broughton. Home to a Post Office with village store, three pubs and a Royal British Legion branch, it has all you need and more for a self-catered stay near the Lake District. Sitting amongst the River Derwent, there are plenty of scenic walking routes within the local area, with both coastal footpaths and rich terrains available all around. Head into Cockermouth to find a wider range of amenities to choose from as well as the National Trust wonder of Wordsworth House and Garden, the former home of romantic poet Wordsworth himself, here you can enjoy a tour of the Georgian townhouse and roam the riverside garden that gave William his inspiration, where you will find 18th-century varieties of vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers, as well as a welcoming flock of heritage chickens.
