"Lovely quiet caravan site, friendly neighbours."
Caravan was clean and well presented, I've stayed in a few caravans and these were the comfiest beds I've slept on. The bottle of wine was a lovely touch and went down well.. we will definitely be returning at some point :)
"The most perfect accommodation."

"The caravan was perfect, so warm and comfortable."
A bottle of wine, milk and tea/coffee waiting for us. A lovely quiet site perfect as a base for days out.
"From the moment of the booking we received all the information required to ensure a safe and pleasant arrival."
The accommodation was to a high standard and my two young kids loved it.
"The caravan wad presented beautifully and the site is excellent especially for a quiet and relaxing holiday."
"The standard of the accommodation was excellent and was ideally placed for the kind of holiday we required in these strange times!"
"The caravan is beautifully clean, the milk and wine in the fridge was a lovely touch."
The park was kept very neat and tidy. No problems getting the keys and got clear instructions from the caretaker. The internet went down a couple of times but this was no fault of the owners and luckily I had internet on my phone. Would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be visiting it again.
"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at The Hideaway excellent accommodation."
Fantastic location central for visiting other areas. Thankful we were able to take our dog. A lovely touch was a bottle of wine left and milk in the fridge. We would recommend and we would definitely stay here again and great value fir money.
"The caravan was lovely nice and clean and comfortable with a lovely leather recliner which really added to the experience for me personally."
some nice welcome touches including a bottle of wine was really appreciated. the broadband advertised wanted to charge you when inputting the code that maybe one for the owners to review but it didn’t bother me as have plenty of data on phone. we had our dog with us who loves his caravans and I really appreciate the owners adding a gate at short notice thank you. the location is a fantastic base for Keswick and cockermouth if you want to drive 10 mins. there is nothing on the doorstep at all apart from a local social club but lovely for a nice peaceful escape. Only one potential change would be to see if you ca. put van in a sunnier location in the park as the veranda was shaded bu big hill and trees yet others has the sun all day. There seemed to be spaces and I think a south facing veranda would massively enhance the holiday experience. overall lovely holiday thank you
"The accommadation was superb."
Extremely clean and spacious and felt like a new caravan. It had everything we needed. We had a slight problem with the fridge and the owner came straight out to help us . Would stay again and recommend to others. The site was well maintained - small and very quiet! a good base for exploring the area.
"Lovely little place."
Equipped with everything you need and we were even greater with milk and a bottle of wine. So clean and spacious. The beds are so comfortable we all slept like logs. Highly recommend x
"Internet was very sketchy."
Could do with a washing machine and second tv in bedroom
"Brigham holiday park is a true germ."
The caravan is exactly as described on the website. Spotlessly clean, spacious enough for our young children to play around and as a self catering apartment, I have to say it was wonderfully equipped. As a precaution, we packed few kitchen bits to help but there was absolutely no need. We literally found everything we needed and more. For the children delight, we even found a DVD reader as well as kids favourite DVD’s. Wonderful caretakers, always ready to help no matter your need. The park witch is just 10 min drive from Keswick town centre, is quiet, safe and a perfect base to visit the beautiful surroundings. We just can’t wait to visit again in a near future.

About the location
Bassenthwaite Lake 7 miles; Keswick 13 miles.
The small country market town of Cockermouth is situated in the quiet north-western part of the Lake District, a largely undiscovered and unspoilt area, yet only 13 miles from Keswick. The town is famous as the birthplace of both William Wordsworth and Fletcher Christian (of Mutiny on the Bounty fame) and Wordsworth’s Georgian family home, on the main street, is now a popular visitor attraction, owned by the National Trust. Cockermouth offers a good variety of shops, pubs and places to eat, but (of course) the main attraction of the area is the beautiful scenery and excellent walking in the northern lakes – Bassenthwaite Lake, Ennerdale Water and Derwent Water.
