  • "The place was lovely."

The log cabin wqs really nice inside had everything but a kettle which we found rather funny so we had to use a pan. It was vert clean and tidy. The hot tub was nice too.

Hello Jessica, Bless you, there’s a boiling hot water tap so no need to use a pan! (There is information in the guest directory telling guests this, in case they haven’t come across one before.) Next time if you think some thing is missing, just give the owner a ring and they should be able to help. Glad you enjoyed your stay. All the best, Kate Property Owner

  • "Lovely place with a great view."

Very modern and spacious. We enjoyed our stay but there was a few things which made us feel uncomfortable. The bedding didn’t seem clean. There was a stain on top of the duvet , an eyelash extension on top of one of the pillows and also a stain on the inside of the bedding. The memory foam pillows were too hard for us but this is personal preference. The plates and cutlery were also dirty and the hot tub water was dirty.

Hello Olivia, Glad you enjoyed your two night stay. I’m sorry to hear you thought some things weren’t clean. If you’d said something at the time I would have been happy to come and have a look and if needs be have changed things for you. It’s always better to say something at the time because you can’t rectify something once a guest has left. There are two pillows provided one is memory foam and the other is sheep’s wool so softer. Again if you’d got in touch I could have brought you a different pillow. All the best, Kate. Property Owner

  • "Wonderful little lodge tucked away in quiet countryside."

Really clean and equipped with all you need. The log fire hot tub takes a bit of warming but well worth it just to chill in. Definitely will be returning.
