  • "Stayed for a long weekend at Baystones."

Really great flat, all very clean, in a central location with nice views from the top bedrooms and easy check-in. Could have asked for much more, would definitely recommend.

Well spaced out, with all facilities and only a short walk out into the wilds for walking or other activities fantastic break, set in a fab location

  • "Very comfortable and well equipped."

Our only item wanted was a coffee cafetiere. Everything provided was spot on. Slow cooker was wonderful.

  • "Entrance to the property was a bit awkward, top of a narrow back lane, up some metal fire escape stairs."

The location of the property in Keswick made up for the strange entrance.

  • "Having stayed at Baystones a number of times over the last 5 years,it is badly in need of a face-lift,the level of cleaning was dreadful,it is time the owner took a close look at there property, dripping taps, toilet overflow, grease and dirt on top of fridge, cooker hood, top of kitchen units, and dust and crumbs everywhere,2 hours later than normal for booking to aid extra cleaning due to covid which obviously didn't happen, sorry to be so negative as we have enjoyed a number of stays at Baystones and of course there is the 50% hike up in price,so all in all extremely disappointing, hope this gives the owner food for thought."

The apartment was in an amazing location for Keswick town centre and the lake, it was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend Baystones.

  • "Access to the property is via a small lane behind a row of shops/ restaurants but it’s a Lovely clean house and great position in Keswick with everything you need in a property, it’s near to everything in town and great for exploring the area."

Property states dog friendly which is great, but there is no where to let dog out, eg garden, as it stated in email we received twice( in its own private grounds overlooking the Rusland valley). Although there is a lovely park a few mins walk away. Overall thoroughly enjoyable week in Keswick and the Lake District, loads of great pubs, shops and restaurants and market on a Saturday and Thursday. Definitely be coming back.
