“Cosy & comfortable”
This cottage is located on a quiet street within a 10 minute level, easy stroll from the centre of Keswick. Our party consisted of 2 couples, so the 3rd (single) bedroom wasn't used. On first entering the cottage, we were all surprised at how roomy it is, especially the kitchen. The patio outside the back door is very small (only a tiny table and 2 chairs) but as we stayed in chilly March, this wasn't a problem. There is a large bathroom, with a bath, separate shower enclosure, wc, bidet & basin. The double bedrooms are bright, with plenty of drawers and hanging space. The largest bed has a firm mattress, which I found very comfortable, but my daughter thought the other double was a bit on the soft side. The large cupboards on the landing were great for storing our suitcases. Parking is on the street, but we always managed to get parked within a few feet of the door. Our only gripe was the lack of instructions for the cooker, but we managed to figure it out. We had a very enjoyable week in the cottage, and would certainly consider it again for a winter break.
