The property

This substantial four-bed Victorian town house lies in the heart of the thriving Lake District market town of Keswick.

This slate-brick house boasts many original features such as bay windows and an open fireplace.

Jubilee Cottage provides comfortable accommodation across three floors for up to 8 people, making it the perfect choice for two families, one large family or a group of friends.

On the ground floor of the property is a well-equipped country style kitchen with double oven and slate floor, as well as a dining room with space for 8 diners and a living flame gas fire.

The ground floor is also home to a cosy lounge which boasts a three-piece suite, open fireplace and TV with TV DVD.

On the first floor is a master bedroom complete with kingsize bed and vanity unit.

A second double room, also with a vanity unit, is also on the first floor as well as a family bathroom with shower over bath, WC and basin and a separate shower room and separate WC with basin.

The second floor is home to 2 x twin bedrooms, each with vanity units.

The cottage features a patio garden with furniture to the front.

There is also a compact private parking space for one small car.

The cottage is located close to the epicentre of Keswick which means a choice of pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes, plus the Theatre by the Lake, are all within a five-minute walk.

The town is also home to the famous Derwent Pencil Museum which is also just a five-minute walk away. Keswick is located to the north of the Lake District and is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding mountains and Lakes, including Derwent Water just a mile from the town.

Further afield is the town of Cockermouth with its shops and attractions, or the village of Grasmere which is just a short, scenic drive away.

Perfect for a large family or group looking for a well-appointed property close to both outdoor pursuits and the amenities of a town.
