  • "Our first time in Keswick and we absolutely loved the accommodation at Keswick Bridge."

Perfect for exploring The Lakes it is ideally situated being only a brisk 10 minutes walk to the heart of Keswick town centre. The lodge was kitted out with anything you could need. The grounds were beautifully kept. Definitely a place to visit again.

  • "The apartment was clean, very comfortable and well maintained."

The bathrooms are clean and in very good order. We needed to use the fan heaters in the bathrooms but we did stay on a cold and snowy week. Our heating cost £50 for the week but we did accidentally leave the living room heater on one night. The living room area is warm and retains the heat well. We had lovely views of the river and towards Low Rigg. There is great walking on the doorstep. We used our car once in the whole week. We would happily return.

Thank you for your comments, we are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and all the area had to offer. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed a very relaxing stay with all the comforts of home."

Extremely well located close to the centre of Keswick, but with the benefits of a more private setting with well maintained grounds and easy access to popular walking trails. The lodge was spacious and far better equipped than the booking emails and website description lead us to believe. Had these added extras been better communicated, we wouldn't have needed to bring as much with us. Small, but welcomed things like washing up liquid and paper towels. (Although, perhaps these aren't guaranteed as standard?) Overall would highly recommend.

  • "Absolutely stunning."

The view from the lodge , overlooking the water was so peaceful. Grounds and facilities were immaculate. Perfect location for walking into town, the Railway walk and access to roads. Just perfect. You wont find better accommodation.

  • "A very pleasant location and the lodge was comfortable and well equipped."

It does get very warm in the upstairs lounge due to facing south, but the outside balcony is welcome.

  • "The only negative thing was that the fridge was not working properly, so our milk went off several times."

I did report it and they were going to put a new fridge in on changeover day. Obviously it is very difficult to properly check all the appliances in a park of lodges so I mustn't grumble too much, but they could have reduced the electricity charge a bit, as the fridge ran all the time. The location is very pleasant although some lodges are pretty close to a rather noisy main road. Speaking of roads, the normal access route to the park was closed due to roadworks and we would have appreciated having been told that before we arrived. It had obviously been closed for weeks. But these are minor niggles and overall we had a very enjoyable stay and will probably return.
