Bathrooms are lovely with great bath.Garden on slope but has lovely feel with old trees and lots of lovely birds, However it is on the A66 so beware you can hear traffic from front bedrooms Parking is a issue if more than one car due to space availability Cottage next to owners home so not particularly private and owner uses the garage underneath cottage so that can be noisy . You can walk to Keswick in around 45 minutes and the viallge is lovely with a restaurant within 5 minute walk

If you decide to wander into the village of Braithwaite you’ll be immersed into theatrical mountains, glittering lakes and stunning countryside.

There are three pubs within walking distance and all offer food if you wish to dine out.

The market town of Keswick is just two miles away and is home to tasty restaurants, unique shops, and the celebrated Theatre by the Lake.

The tranquil lake Derwentwater is also a brief drive away.

Wonderful walks are offered around the cottage with its surrounding countryside and incredible views to be appreciated.

The Flight Park is located within walking distance of Braithwaite farm, which has a charming café and shop or book to learn how to paraglide over the stunning Lake District scenery.
