  • "Excellent venue in all aspects, apart from periodic lack of pressure in the shower."

It would very useful if the heated towel rail was working. A lovely light and airy space to come back to right in the centre of town. Thank you.

  • "The flat is lovely and central but very quiet."

Very comfortable and spacious with good kitchen facilities and equipment. Everything we needed for a great week.

  • "The property was lovely and airy and was equipped with everything we needed."

It was comfortable and homely after a days walking, and central for us for eating and drinking. The only thing we found was that the heated towel rail wasn’t working and we had no hot water one day but we contacted the office and the water problem was sorted, the boiler had tripped but the element on towel rail needed to be replaced. All in all we had a fabulous few days away and would definitely recommend it.

  • "Sky View was a fantastic apartment right in the centre of Keswick."

The layout was great and it was very clean and welcoming. We loved seeing the stars in bed at night! My only complaint would be that we had no hot water in the kitchen, and the pressure was extremely low. We had to use the kettle to fill the sink to wash pans etc. And we couldn't find any information in the cottage about the hot water situation. Also, the shower cuts out after about 10 minutes, which isn't great if the whole family wants a shower. At the end of our stay, about 6 teenage guests moved into the flat next door (number 1) and kept us up all night having a party which they invited people back to. This wasn't ideal, and it kept us all awake through the night (including my young daughter).

  • "We found the property well laid out and well equipped."

We did take a cafetiere and teapot as they were not listed but were provided. The shower was excellent though could do with a little mould removal around the tiles and I found the bed very comfortable. We didn't use our car much once parked and were able to turn round if we picked the right moment.. Keswick has a lot to offer with a market on Friday and Saturday. It also has two fantastic well kept parks with a variety of activities.

  • "Parking in Keswick difficult, should definitely be noted on the advertisement."

Also the car space dsignated has an insanely narrow lane to get down, very small cars only. This should also be advertised.

  • "A slight problem was the number of steps to access the property - I knew it was an apartment on booking but not quite how high it was to get to it (a friend staying with us is awaiting surgery + mobility isn't easy!"

) - despite this it was a great base for us + even he found it so central for all pubs, shops, coffee bars etc that the steep climb was offset. A great apartment - well-equipped; very comfortable + extremely handy for the fabulous pub food and great beer at The George

Very clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Really handy to have it’s own parking space in Keswick albeit a very narrow entrance.

Ideal location. Parking a bit awkward but still a bonus to have an allocated space.

  • "The property was lovely and everything was of a good standard, the only thing we would have added would be a bath as well as a shower."

The location was great with good facilities on the doorstep. The parking was a bit of an issue. We knew that we wouldn't be able to get our car through the small entrance archway to the parking slot, but we had been led to believe that there was plenty of free parking close by - we couldn't find any. We ended up paying £10 per day to park in the town centre. Other than that, a problem-free stay.

  • "What a great apartment and location!"

Everything you could need and more. The beds were very comfortable and the living area was bigger than the pictures showed. Perfect for a family of four. We couldn't use the car parking space as we have a very large car (narrow alley to the space which is noted in the description small car only) but that didn't stop us booking. We just parked 5 mins walk away. Highly recommend and would book again

  • "Unlike most other accommodations we had to buy nothing but food for our stay."

Liquid hand-soap in kitchen and bathroom; adequate supply of toilet rolls; dish-towels; kitchen paper; salt; and plentiful supply of cleaning materials were among the lovely surprises. As well as the welcome pack of sachets of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, hot chocolate and biscuits provided. It would have been good to have been warned about the additional internal flight of stair. Fortunately we were fit enough to deal with these but it was a shock when we arrived. The car alley-way was no problem to access but it was difficult turning the car within the narrow courtyard in order to drive out - patience and care needed. We would definitely consider staying at Skyview again

  • "It was so good to be back in Keswick."

This Flat is really great for us, really central. For sure, the vehicle access is a learned skill and a larger car would not have made the "yard" access due to a very limited width, though I am sure street parking is not far away at all. You could always drop off luggage then fine a place to park if necessary. The staff in the office were really friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to being able to book again.

  • "The flat was much better than we expected."

Well equipped with two sets of dishes lots of equipment and glasses.Only kitchen item I would liked to have seen is a decent chef’s knife. The prep knives were substandard for attempting to prepare meals. Note I am a retired chef so am used to slicing and dicing being a bit easier. The flat itself was bright and easily cooled down with tilting windows and skylights. We all said now if I were to move into a flat from our house this would be perfect. The location is ideal for accessing the town and the hills and lake. We were traveling using trains and the bus and as long as you can are able to walk this is a great location. It would not work for anyone with mobility issues as it is top floor of a very steep stair. We did have a problem initially finding the flat and how to access it. However thanks to several people in shops and offices and a call to the letting agency that was all remedied after a very short period of panic. The locals are great. The issue was that I had not received the critical email with those details and Booking .com unlike most of their listings seemed to be missing concise location details
