And with peaceful country walks right on your doorstep, you’ll be able to walk off all that delicious food.
Further afield, you can easily visit Penrith with its shops and restaurants, the Castle and Museum and Beacon Hill.
Lake Ullswater and Keswick are a quick 15 minute drive away, for more shopping, museums, parks and golfing, and of course, water sports on the lake.
If you fancy a hike, you’re close to the Caldbeck Fells and Blencathra, with stunning countryside to explore.
