Avid ramblers and twitchers will be delighted by the Solway Coast AONB, where the dramatic sand dunes play host to some of the most important habitats in Europe, with a plethora of viewpoints for catching a glimpse of oystercatchers, curlew, golden and grey plover, lapwing and knot.
