The hamlet of Mungrisdale is just a mile away and one mile from the A66 with easy access to both Ullswater, Keswick and Penrith and in the hamlet itself you will find a fine local pub serving bar meals in the enviable location next to the stream where, during warmer days children enjoy a paddle while the parents look on.
