Beautiful house in a perfect location, lots of space, the only small thing I would say is the bath towels were tiny, some good sized bath sheets would be ideal, can’t wait to return in the summer

Debbie thanks for your kind review and feedback and for rebooking in the summer. The bath towels are standard bath towels size (66cm/26” x 125cm/49”), we have taken the decision not to go larger size bath sheets for laundry and environmental reasons. We cater for up to 8 guests and that volume would be add to much to each weekly booking, we hope you understand. Property Owner

  • "We had such a lovely time in this well equipped, delightful property."

We particularly loved the open plan kitchen/diner/sitting area, and hardly used the lounge! Portinscale is lovely and quiet, and we enjoyed the pub at the end of the road, and also the tea room round the corner.

Thank you for your kind review Catherine, we are so happy that you enjoyed your stay at Riggside. We hope to see you again soon. Kind regards Richard & Lynn Property Owner

  • "Beautiful views in an elevated traffic-free location in Portinscale but with easy access either by car or on foot to Keswick."

The house was clean, spacious and comfortable and we felt that the owners cared about our holiday. The grassy area at the front was a great place for the children to run about and let off steam. We were lucky with the weather and found plenty of things to fill each day, including climbing Cat Bells and cycling along the old rail track to Threlkeld. We would not hesitate to return to this house in the future.

Just seen this feedback sorry. Thank you for taking the time to feedback. Property Owner
