Property was spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and good powerful showers. Loved the Aga! Very relaxing sitting in the garden when the weather allowed. Would definitely visit again as we loved the area too

  • "Best property we have ever stayed in."

So clean and comfortable and a lot more spacious than the pictures show. We found the Serengeti had everything we needed and more. The garden was properly secure for our dog to explore. The bedrooms were huge with lots of storage for clothes ect. The garage with pool table and darts were a lot of fun too. We can’t wait to book to go back. I think staying here in the warmer months would be even better so you could take full advantage of the lovely gardens and wildlife that visit them.

Catered for our dog and had a number of throwovers which could be used for the dog. Plenty of individual areas inside and out to allow the family to have thier own space and quiet time. Would be a place that we would definitely stay at again should we holdiday near the area again.

  • "We have just returned from a fabulous weeks holiday, staying at Serengeti."

The accommodation really was brilliant, the hosts have thought about everything to make your stay enjoyable. We were a party of 6 adults, 2 children and a dog, there is ample room for all, bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms modern , kitchen area is spacious and plenty of seating for everyone around the table. The garden is also lovely, so many seating areas and lovely plants to look at, it’s was very tranquil. The children loved finding and hiding the little animals! The house is also perfectly located to visit so many places, we enjoyed lots of walks in the area and also had a trip to Windermere which was roughly a 50 min drive. The village itself is very pretty, with a play area for the children, a nice walk along the river and a great pub! Also the games room at the cottage came in very handy for our one rainy day. Thank you for a great stay.

  • "We really enjoyed the property and impressed with how well catered for it was."

The kitchen had a really good supply of equipment so we were able to cook whatever we wished. We loved spending time as a family playing games and having darts/pool tournaments. Our two border collies enjoyed the garden investigating all the little cubby holes. The village that the property is in is a pretty little village with lovely walks and a really nice play area and football field that we were welcomed at when visiting with our family and dogs. I would highly recommend.

We really didn't want to leave! The Pokemon Go fans were over excited to have a gym reachable from the property. The gardens are stunning and the pond seating was well used by all.
