An immaculately-presented semi-detached cottage, situated next to the owner’s home, on the edge of the village of Allithwaite, on the South Lakeland Peninsula, close to the Lake District National Park.

This superb Allithwaite cottage provides spacious, contemporary accommodation, ideal for couples and families who wish to enjoy all the area has to offer.

Outside this Allithwaite cottage is a small patio, ideal for watching the evening's sunset, whilst enjoying a cold drink.

The South Lakeland Peninsula boasts a gentle climate and distant views of Morecambe Bay to the Lancashire coast, with the village of Allithwaite itself offering a shop, Post Office and two pubs serving food.

Two miles away is Cartmel, which is a quaint typical English village, with a stream running through the centre and has some very famous restaurants, perfect for that special occasion.

Cartmel is also famous for its medieval priory and home of the delicious sticky toffee pudding – a perfect gift to take back home.

Just 9 miles away is Fell Foot Park, a National Trust property on the shores of beautiful Lake Windermere, where you will find an adventure playground, charming gardens and you can even hire rowing boats and kayaks, subject to availability, and within driving distance is the South Lakes Wild Animal Park, which is great place to go with children.

There’s so much to see from the doorstep of this Lake District cottage.
