"Whilst the cottage is in an excellent location parking is definitely an issue as you have a permit but no actual allocated space."
The beds were definitely quite hard and uncomfortable for us.
Whilst it was not an issue for us, the neighbours kitchen window is definitely a drawback in that the small patio area does not afford room to move away from being overlooked.
On the plus side, the kitchen was one of the best stocked that we have stayed in, extras like foil, bags, dishwasher tablets, oil, salt etc etc were in abundance. The shower and bathroom were perfect, all in all a well thought out holiday cottage.

"A lovely well equipped cottage."
Fantastic location and great to nip back to after walks, shopping and pub finding.
We were met at 16:50 by a lady cleaning who abruptly informed me that it wasn’t five o’clock yet! This wasn’t the best welcome but didn’t ruin our weekend.
A lovely cottage, couldn’t fault it

"As expected the parking was a bit difficult but we manged to get a place in Compston St and then used public transport."
The hardness of the bed caused me problems.
The kitchen was really well equipped and had good storage space'
No problem with the patio being overlooked. Neighbours both sides pleasant and friendly

"Next door neighbour with window onto the patio did not give a very good impression as we ere entering the cottage for the first time."
He shouted at our 9 yr old grandson. We were unaware the window belonged to the next door house. It was rather unnecessary and was upsetting.

"It was like a home from home."
Everything we needed was there from toilet rolls to peanuts for the bird feeder. The cottage was spotless and smelled lovely when we walked through the door. The shower was incredible and we had no trouble parking. The proximity to the centre of town was brilliant for those unable to walk far. The buses were regular enough not to have to take the car anywhere. Beautiful little patio area that kept the sun quite late. We were very impressed with the whole thing - from booking to leaving. Highly recommended.

"We had a great week at Anniversary Cottage."
The owners were really helpful & replied promptly to a minor query. Cottage is comfortable & well equipped. Had great weather so we could take advantage of the courtyard seating, which is ideal. Location is very central - perfect for popping out to the shops / restaurants. Not too noisy at night either. Only snag is that parking spaces are like gold dust in busy periods. You can park for a short time to drop off / pick up, but for longer it can be a 10 minute walk away. Wouldn't stop me staying there again however. Thank you
