  • "Leven View is a great property to explore the Lake District."

The apartment was great - the tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival were a nice touch - would return when coming back to the Lake District - we didn’t need to contact the owners as everything was immaculate!!!!

  • "Excellent property - very clean with great facilities."

Really good linen and towels which distinguishes it as well. Kitchen well equipped if you want to cook. Well placed for the South Lakes. Nice touches with the card and biscuits as well. Happy to recommend and would be pleased to return.

Apartment was so modern and clean. Everything we could have wished for and more. Fantastic location for exploring the lakes . I didn’t want to leave the lovely apartment. Felt so relaxed after our visit and would recommend highly. Will be booking in the future.

  • "Good base to explore the area."

Michaela and Gary left a lovely welcome pack in their immaculate apartment plus tea, coffee milk etc. which was very much appreciated. There is fast EV charging at Booths in nearby Ulverston.

  • "Accomodation was a bit smaller than we expected but a perfect base for doing things in this area."

There were two heat detectors in the livingroom/kitchen area and everyday they went off even though we had the extractor fan on & every window & balcony door open, regardless of whether we were making a slice of toast or a meal in the oven. I know legislation dictates where and how many detectors there are but they are extremely sensitive.

  • "Comments left for owner of ways in which the property experience could be improved, and hopefully they will action some of them."

None left for Sykes because if they are in the least bit negative then Sykes do not publish feedback, so therefor a waste of time.

  • "Leven View is a fantastic apartment for two people."

The owners make themselves available if you have any problems; e.g. where is the cutlery drawer :) The little gifts left for you on arrival are also very much appreciated. The apartment is ideally situated for exploring the Lake District, but also allows you to access local walks from your doorstep. Inside, it is immaculate and has everything you need for your stay. The two balconies are a bonus. The only negative is the road noise on the back balcony as it takes away the serene sound of the running river water. All-in-all, I would definitely recommend this place if you are a couple and need a good base for a holiday to the Lake District.

  • "Leven View was well appointed & well looked after."

It was modern & comfortable & felt home from home. Nice touches like fresh flowers & a box of biccies was appreciated. Seating & bed was very comfortable & a large TV with amazon prime was welcomed. The owners had obviously chosen carefully on its decor & soft furnishings & maintained everything to a high standard. 2 verandas front & back we're nice & used the back (facing the river) more. There is some road noise but it didn't detract from the overall pleasantness. Leven View is one of the best self catering properties we've stayed in & wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you Gary & Michaela.

Everything was new and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were very high quality. The kitchen is very well equipped and the owners had left some milk in the fridge, tea bags and coffee pods for the Nespresso machine, and some lovely biscuits for us when we arrived.
