Arriving at the cottage, park your car in one of five off-road parking spaces and make your way into the cottage; set over three floors, the ground floor hosts the majority of the social space.

Take advantage of the kitchen/diner and whip up a delicious meal for your group; here, you will find all the appliances you need to prepare your meals, as well as a handy dishwasher to help with the cleaning up.

Gather as a family at the dining table and discuss the day's events over a homecooked meal, or perhaps treat your group to a takeaway, before heading into the sitting room to settle down for the evening.

Sink into the plush sofas to watch the TV while you snuggle up and let the amber glow from the woodburning stove warm the space around you.

Climbing the stairs up to the first floor, you will find a games room fit with a pool table and table football, perfect for keeping you and your younger members of the group entertained throughout your stay.

When sleep calls, venture off to your sleeping quarters for some well-deserved rest; the first floor hosts the master bedroom, home to a king-size bed and a handy en-suite shower room where you cab freshen up and prepare for the day ahead.

Each bedroom has been thoughtfully decorated with a neutral yet homely décor, and complete with storage so you can unpack your belongings.

The remaining four bedrooms are located on the lower-ground floor and comprise of two doubles with en-suite shower rooms, and two twins for a flexible sleeping arrangement.

The real gemstone to this impressive property is the garden; boasting a large lawn and tremendous views of the surrounding countryside, the garden is well-equipped for spending the summer months enjoying your meals al fresco, or just savouring the sunshine.

If you can tear yourself away from this bewitching cottage, Lindale is a fine village to spend your holiday in, with quaint buildings shops and pubs to give the chef of your group a break from cooking in the evenings.

Nearby there is the lovely town of Grange-over-Sands, another one of the Lake District's gems, which offers a good range of amenities and a magnificent golf course boasting views over to the meeting place of the sea and the River Kent.

Bowness-on-Windermere is also a popular tourist destination due to its plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants and the abundance of walking and cycling routes for the energetic members of your group.

Why not spend a day wandering the lakeside of Lake Windermere, which is just a scenic drive away; from here you can try your hand at watersports or enjoy a leisurely cruise along the calm waters.

There are plenty more attractions further afield, including The World of Beatrix Potter and the Puzzling Place, each renowned for their unique and family-friendly experiences.

Lindale 2.5 miles, Grange-over-Sands 4.7 miles; Windermere 16.3 miles.

Beck Head is a small village resting at the southern tip of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria. Situated between the A590 and Witherslack, Town End is conveniently located and home to a shop and a pub, along with a local flower shop. The area is mainly residential and is encompassed by pretty countryside while being within easy reach of the magnificent lakes and terrains within the Lake District. The River Kent runs nearby, with the ever-popular Grange-over-Sands lying just under 17 miles away. Nearby attractions include Levens Hall, which is 7 miles away and reachable by a scenic car journey and boasts an Elizabethan house with delicately-kept gardens making for a peaceful day out for all ages. Venturing into the nearby town of Grange-over-Sands, you will find a good selection of shops and eateries, as well as a train station for easier access and fantastic golf course with glorious views where the sea and the River Kent meet.
