Discover the historic town of Barnard Castle nearby, with its quaint cobbled streets, Victorian architecture, independent shops and antique centres.

Also in the area is Raby Castle and deer park, the Bowes Museum and just a mile down the road is the stunning High Force waterfall of the River Tees.
