"The flat made a great base for our walking holiday."
-
"A very nice apartment that I stayed at between moving homes."
It is clean, well furnished with a modern but cosy feel. Very quiet with a nice balconies front and back, the back overlooking green fields and woods. Very happy with the stay. It is up a steep hill. Windermere is a nice size, small, but with stores and restaurants.

"The holiday flat is in a brilliant location, however if you find walking difficult, the hill up to the accommodation is very steep when walking from the town."
The flat is warm and comfortable. Everything was provided in the kitchen even tea towels, soaps cleaning products, cling film bin bags , tinfoil etc. If you intend to eat in and cook a lot, the fridge is quite small and is difficult to store food in. However there is a local coop and a tesco down the hill. The beds are super comfy and plenty of storage for clothes bags and a cupboard for coats and shoes. Brilliant walks around the area. The flat was warm and cosy and well worth the money we paid for our weeks stay. The car park at the back is very tight but after a little practise we found it not too difficult. The views are stunning. If you are an able walker then this flat is definitely well worth a stay.

"A warm, comfortable and very clean, modern apartment in a quiet residential location."
Views of Lake Windermere are in the distance, through the gaps in the opposite properties but still providing good interest, especially with a sunset or low mists settling just above the Lake's surface. The bedroom balcony overlooks a tumbling stream and wooded hillside; a deer was visible in the early morning. Parking access and space is tricky with a larger car and the description does not mention the very steep walk from Bowness town; not comfortable for everyone perhaps.

"The property was listed as having off road parking however this was behind the property along a very steep, narrow single track and the actual parking area was far too small for an estate car to park on."
A small hatch back may be able to park on it . Therefore I had to park on the pavement at the front of the property and was shouted at by a neighbour. Everything else was great.

"This was our 3 time at lower brantfell."
Only 1 problem spilt ice cream in freezer.
