  • “The flat was in a great location and had everything you needed.”

The bed was lovely and comfortable and the blinds blocked out the light. Even though it is really close to everything it was also really quiet at night. When first entering everything appeared to be lovely and clean, however the first evening, after showering, I was walking around with bare feet preparing things for the next day and my feet were black! I wish I was exaggerating.. The dark wooden floors had been swept but had not been cleaned for quite a long time judging by the colour of the multitude of anti-bacterial cloths I used cleaning them!! I really didn't expect to have to do that on my first night on holiday! This did leave me wondering how deep the clean had been and certainly was not Covid cleaned as the note left on the table suggested. I did get a courtesy call the following morning asking if everything was ok, which I thought was a nice touch, and after telling them about the floors said they would have rectified the problem had I not already done so. Clearly they had spoken to the cleaner because she was patiently waiting for us to leave at 10am!
