  • "Very nice and cozy cottage that has everything you need for an enjoyable stay."

We had a week there with our two dogs and had a lovely, relaxing time. Overall the cottage was very clean. We had to re wash a few pieces of crockery which had been put way in the cupboard but assume this is more to do with previous guests not washing them as thoroughly as they could. The log fire is a nice addition and the owners left enough wood for a weeks use if you were only using it in the evening's. The central heating keeps the place warm if the log fire is not in use. Even though it’s an old cottage the owners have refurbished it to a high standard while still retaining its charm. There are some great local dog friendly walks on your doorstep and the local pubs and cafe are very good and dog friendly too which is nice. Excellent value and we would definitely stay again.

Hi Mr & Mrs Tinsley, glad you had a lovely time at Fellside cottage, you're all welcome back! Property Owner

  • "Beautiful cottage."

Couple if minor issues. Back door needs hinge repair. Shower compact. Stairs steep. Other than that this is a lovely cottage. A perfect base for exploring the lakes.
